A PS3, a customized Ipod Shuffle and Guitar Hero jam sessions all week are just samples of the great holiday I am having. My girl is also hooking me up with a Nintendo Wii (when we find one!) and hanging out with my family is the greatest thing in the world. I can't wait for us to finish our project so that things start returning to normal. I just know that 2007 is where we take our lives back!

The Almost-Perfect Consumer
Last night I test drove this 2007 Audi S4--a very powerful and awesome driving machine. With all the changes going on and after consulting with my entourage, I have decided that buying this car at this point in my life would not be a smart decision. Although I have considered buying new shoes for my current ride. How fast can I drive in Los Angeles anyway? Not much faster than I already do.

The Agony and Ecstasy
The elimination of my San Francisco 49ers from the 2006 playoff race almost dampened my sheer elation of being at a live 49er game with true meaning. The roar of the crowd, the atmosphere and cold were just a few things I will never forget in my life. This experience comes as an early surprise X-mas gift from my sister and her man--who rock big-time! John and I had a great time, and we as fans have a lot to look forward to next season. Final score Cardinals 26, 49ers 20.

Beta and Beyond
Well our team has hit Beta and we are so close to having our final days on the Playstation 2. A lot of us are hanging on by a thread and need the coming holiday badly! It has been a long road for God of War 2, and an even longer one on the PS2. We have milked the technology for everything it can offer. It's sad, but at the same time exciting because PS3 development is on the horizon for us. Kudos to all those warriors who bled for this project and made the game look as great as it does.

Down With the Sickness

Fever chills and sweats along with body aches dominated my weekend. I thought I could pull through our year-long crunch without getting sick, but perhaps my lack of sleep and stress finally got to me. I finally got to feel the sun on my face today as I was able to grab some dinner and get some fresh air after being in bed for two days.

Must...Fight!
Red Zone
This photo was taken last night around 11:40pm. I was getting ready to log off my machine, but I just stopped....and zoned for about 10 minutes. Angelina keeps me company as the mountain of work continues to pile on. I am officially "bug-free" since I got a chance to take care of my bug databases today. I have learned that when I work this long, I start to make minor mistakes-- things that I would never do under normal conditions. My goal is to stay out of the "red zone" and focus at least until the new year comes.

Look Ma!
So look what I found in the July 2006 issue of Playstation 2 UK magazine. It's been sitting in our break room for months! This is the largest published art I have ever had in a magazine! According to my friend Jason, God of War is huuuuuuuge in Europe and we have tons of fans over there. This is just a small sample of the kind of monthly coverage we get.

Fantastic Goodness

It has been averaging about 71 degrees here in Los Angeles-- in December! The temperature drops off drastically at night--but the bright warm sun during the day is amazing. We do have roughly an hour for lunch to enjoy this fantastic goodness.
As for surviving at work--I have been listening to the new Incubus album titled "Light Grenades." My first time through, I hated it and was so disappointed, because their earlier albums are so easily accessible. But after listening to it about 25 times, I realize that it is a pretty solid album. My only complaint is that there are a few throw away songs, but in the end there is something on here for everyone.

The Perfect Grade
So I bought this model kit over six months ago which I have neglected because of our new work schedule. It doesn't require any glue or paint--and there are thousands of pieces! I managed to get through the leg a while back, but now I have brushed off the fine layer of dust and brought it into the open...and construction begins again. Can I finish it before we reach Beta?
